Film versus digital... The other day Sara let me use her Canon film slr. I knew that she had one but I had no idea it was in Illinois. I dropped in a roll of Kodak Ektar 100 and screwed on my Canon 50 mm f1.2 and fired off a roll. The 50 f1.2 weighs more than the camera. I really like the combination of film and lens (at least for color). I think I prefer film to digital. Not that I would ever start shooting film 100 percent of the time. There is a special quality to film. Maybe I prefer the grain structure of film to digital ones and zeros.
