“We do a lot of looking: we look through lenses, telescopes, television tubes… Our looking is perfected everyday – but we see less and less.”

Earlier in the evening I attempted to do laundry. That kind of sums up my day and week.

I also seem to have forgotten that it's Thursday.

I was able to get a Pocket Wizard to fire with the GSN by using the PC sync port. However, I wasn't able to get t he flash to fire on the GT using the PC sync port.

Another blanket of snow. When it first started snowing the snowflakes were about the size of my hand. Seriously, they were pretty big.

Two of the three cameras I recently purchased on ebay arrived. One camera is a Yashica Electro 35 GSN, and the other is a Yashica Electro 35 GT. Both have a 45 mm F1.7 fixed lens, which is pretty sweet, and are aperture priority. Both are built like tanks. I plan on using the GT for black & white film, and the GSN for color. I'm still waiting on a Canon Canonet QL17 GIII QL, which has a 40 mm F1.7 fixed lens. The Canonet is shutter priority, so this is some logic behind picking up three rangefinders. Now I just need to take them out and take some photos.

It's way past my bed time... But still, a couple of quick photos from the Dean & Britta / Keren Ann show at the Lakeshore Theater before I crawl into bed (more to follow later tonight). Oh, and it was a really great show.

I've since created a black & white gallery of the show, which can be seen here.

The amazingly talented Daniel Knox came out to the studio to track piano for Family Tree.
