Before I forget, and while I'm thinking about it, Zerostars play at Schubas on Wednesday (7.30.08). We play around 9 and I highly encourage anyone in the Chicago area to stop by and give us a listen.

Yesterday I felt strangely outside of myself. It's a feeling that I've had before. At one point I was walking down the hallway at work and I felt as if I was looking back upon myself. The night before I had two dreams that I wish I could recall. As I was waiting for the train I concluded that I need to get running again, and soon. Over the past few summers I've been in training for the Chicago Marathon. However, this year I am not running it. I attempted to sign-up back in late May, but by then it had already reached capacity. Truthfully, I'm happy that I'm taking this summer off. There are other more important things going on, and I don't want those to pass me by. While I love training it tends to take a lot out of me. Still, I need to be running as it keeps me balanced and clears my head of any unnecessary clutter. Sometimes I think too much and over analyze things. In a way it is my Achilles heel.
Btw, this past Tuesday U2 released Live in Paris, 1987 on iTunes. Listening to it the other morning before work I felt a rush of excitement like I did when I was 14 and hearing The Joshua Tree for the first time. Live in Paris, 1987 captures U2 at their peak during the Joshua Tree tour. It is a truly amazing performance and highly recommended.

I'm eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while reading The Way of Chuang Tzu. I've eaten many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before this one and I will eat many more of them in the future. I've read The Way of Chuang Tzu many times before and I will read it many more times in the future.

Back in Illinois. Had a great time in California. At some point I'll go through all the photos on the .mac page and create a gallery on specbebop.com.
In other news, Zerostars play July 30th at Schubas, so make note of it and come out to see us. It'll be our first show there ever!
