Yesterday I came across a rather strange candy bar that proclaims, "It's not for girls!"

Sorry Enid, none for you...
According to the Nestle website:
In 2001 the Yorkie "It’s Not for Girls" campaign was launched because, in today’s society, there aren’t many things that a man can look at and say that’s for him.
The 'Not For Girls' campaign theme for Yorkie uses humour, which resonates with today’s British male and simply states that Yorkie is positioning itself as a chocolate bar for men who need a satisfying hunger buster. With five solid chunks of chocolate, it’s a man sized eat!
It's disturbingly sweet and leaves a terrible, almost medicinal, after taste. No way can I eat another piece. It's already in the trash.
It took me a while to get the lighting right for the above photos.

Ever since switching over to the new Macbook Pro I've been lazy with keeping the site updated. Most of my software is on this Powerbook. At some point I need to dig around my apartment to find the software so I can load it on the new computer.
From last Monday night...

Needing to take better advantage of my .mac account I put together a proper gallery for the Haley Bonar/Hanne Hukkelberg show. You can view it here. Actually, I kind of like the .mac photo gallery template.

Actually, it's 03.18.08 and I really should be in bed...
A few photos from the Haley Bonar/Hanne Hukkelberg show at Schubas.

I highly recommend Haley Bonar. She played a great version of Dolly Parton's Jolene.

Hanne and her band came all the way to Chicago from Norway. Good stuff, and worth checking out as well.

Quite an exciting day. This morning I went for a six mile run. Following that I went to the Apple store and purchased a new Powerbook. It's really quite nice. Although, since I haven't loaded Dreamweaver onto that computer I have to work off of my older one. Hopefully I can find my old copy of Dreamweaver.
Tonight I went to see The Magnetic Fields. The second half of the set was much better than the first half. Stephen Merrit, the lead singer, seemed bored and pretty unenthusiastic. Still, ita was a good show.

Once again my eyes played tricks on me this morning. While quickly glancing at cnn.com I thought I saw the following headline:
Space Station Robbed
In reality it had something to do with the space station’s robotic arm. Still, the fact that I thought the space station had been robbed is pretty funny.

Test shot for a cover idea for the upcoming Zerostars album.

It was nice to see that the sun was still out when I left work. Spring is getting closer.

Earlier in the day I went to cnn.com and thought I saw the following headline:
Vomiting Today? Send Us Your Photos and Video
I wish that was the headline, but sadly, it wasn’t (it’s not too difficult to figure out the actual headline). The whole I-Report thing seems to be a bit much. I think the internet is great for sharing information, but I also think that news sites need to be staffed by professional journalists, photographers and editors. Journalists, for the most part, are trained to write from a neutral perspective. They are supposed to leave editorializing to the editorial page.
And this is where I become lazy.
