Everybody is probably getting tired of me and my fascination with trees. Oh well. Just working on something... These are all film, shot with a Besa R4a and a Voigtlander 21 f/4 and developed by me. I really don't know what I am doing (400tx at 800 and developed in Diafine -- not like anybody cares -- really, details such as these are just a reminder for me).
I have the best girlfriend ever. She puts up with my silly and random requests when I'm taking photos.

There's a forest across the street from where I work. I go there to escape the manufactured crises that people feel inclined to create because as Thoreau wrote in Walden, "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation."
And while I'm quoting Thoreau, here's a bit more from Walden, "If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours ... In proportion as he simplifies his life, the laws of the universe will appear less complex, and solitude will not be solitude, nor poverty poverty, nor weakness weakness."
