I found Moped Man in January of 2004. My friend was getting married in Hawaii. One afternoon a few of us went to this crazy Japanese dollar store. I was intrigued with a box that contained some sort of mystery prize. Moped Man turned out to be the prize. Ever since that day I've taken him with me when I travel. Sometimes he visits Chicago too.
