It is always difficult returning back to Illinois when I've been in Maine...
Here's the complete photo album, minus the wedding photos, from the trip.

I don't know who this is... However as we were all getting ready for a shot, she asked to do a shot of Patron Tequila with us. This was her reaction to the sweet nectar. I on the other hand thought it was delicious.

After months and months of searching, I finally found my copy of Adobe CS and a copy of Dreamweaver to install on the shiny MacBook Pro I bought back in March as a replacement for my slow Powerbook. It'll be nice to have everything on on computer instead of jumping between two.
Tomorrow I'm off to Maine... Time to finish packing.

Happy birthday Dad!
I spent Thursday night watching really awful TV courtesy of FOX. When it was all over I realized that I had just lost two hours of my life. I then listened to Eluvium and promptly fell asleep on the couch. However, before all the lethargy I ran four miles, so I wasn't that pathetic. I've started getting my running life back, which is pretty great.

Yesterday I went to see Contempt at the Siskel Film Center. Quite an upbeat ending... Afterwards, while sitting on the train, I went back in time to when teenagers feathered their hair and bought Judas Priest albums. The kid in the photo below and his friend must have been record shopping as they bought actual records, as in the vinyl kind, by Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Kiss and yes, Judas Priest. I couldn't resist taking a photo. Sadly, I think they both ended up getting kicked off the train as they didn't have enough money to pay the conductor when he came around to check for tickets. I saw them both dig into their empty pockets but neither pulled out any money.

Tonight I went to see the insanely talented Andrew Bird play at Millennium Park. But first...

The photographer becomes the photograph. He caught me as I was snapping this and walked over to me and said, "Not fair." Five or so minutes later he came back and got a shot of me.

This was the opening band, but I can't recall their name.

How do I spend my late afternoon on Labour Day? Being a complete dork...
